Ron Carzoli, M.D.

Chief Medical Officer, East Coast Division

Ron Carzoli, M.D., serves as the Chief Medical Officer for the East Coast Division. He joined Pediatrix in 2004 and was the Medical Director of the Jacksonville Neonatology practice for more than 20 years.

Dr. Carzoli obtained his Bachelor of Science from the University of Notre Dame and his Medical Degree from the University of Michigan. He completed his Pediatric Residency at Washington University and his Fellowship at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. After an initial foray into academics, where he obtained tenure with the University of Florida, he started a two-person private neonatology practice in Jacksonville, Florida. Initially covering one hospital, he grew the practice to a 25-provider group covering multiple hospitals in different hospital systems.

Previous appointments include Pediatric Residency Program Director, Assistant Dean of Students, Chief of Maternal-Fetal Medicine and Chief of Pediatrics at various hospitals, as well as Chief of Staff.
