Kevin Pitzer

Kevin Pitzer joined the company in 2018 and currently serves as President for the West Division. He previously served as the Regional Vice President for the Southwest Region. 

Prior to joining Pediatrix, Mr. Pitzer served as an interim health system executive for St. Peters Health, Sanford Health and Avera Health. Prior to moving into interim leadership, Mr. Pitzer had a 25-year career in health system leadership, including serving as a CEO for Bozeman Health (Bozeman, Montana) and Olmsted Medical Center (Rochester, Minnesota), SVP and COO of Essentia Health’s West Region (Fargo, North Dakota) and several leadership roles with Mayo Clinic (Rochester, Minnesota and Scottsdale, Arizona).

Mr. Pitzer holds an associate’s degree in accounting from the American Institute of Business (Des Moines, Iowa) and a bachelor’s degree in management from the University of Northern Iowa (Cedar Falls, Iowa). He also holds two master's degrees from the University of Iowa (Iowa City, Iowa): a master’s degree in health administration and a master’s degree in business administration with a focus in organizational science and management.
