Robert Quillin, M.D., a board-certified pediatrician and medical director at Pediatrix® Newborn Services of Texas, discussed all there is to know about a 12-month-old baby, including growth, milestones and developments, health, feeding, sleep, schedule and routine, recommended activities and baby care tips. On the topic of development, Dr. Quillin noted, “separation anxiety can be difficult to manage, but is considered part of normal development. Reassurance and calming of your toddler frequently may be necessary as they begin to discover the world around them.”
